Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Takana closes the door quickly and hisses softly, "quit making fun of me!"

[Namari]

Izanagi rolls his eyes, " yeesh" He scoots back and sits at the table, " i was just curious."

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "and I just told you it was a map to the grocery store. There's nothing else to be curious about."

[Namari]

Izanagi wrinkles his nose, " okay okay. is it that hard to find for you?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "I don't think you understand just how terrible my sense of direction is. I can get lost in a paper bag. "

[Namari]

Arakan chuckles softly, " well we better not put you in a paper bag then. I'll admit, these roads are fairly confusing. the signs are not in good shape where they're still even there at all, i suppose it's a lot more difficult when you don;t grow up here."

[MissyLooni]

Takana looks back at arakan and smiles, "I'm glad I don't fit in a paper bag. And yeah this place is a lot harder to navigate especially when I'm already terrible at it. I was never trusted to go somewhere growing up because it was expected that I would get lost."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " it's not how i would have made this district, but we didn;t get any input. some walls were built around this area that was already here, we were shoved in, and called it good. we've made do."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "Yeah and I'm not sure if that's something we can even change now since everyone here is used to it and have kind of grown with the streets in mind."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " not that we have the equipment to build buildings like this, these were human buildings." he shrugs. " it would be nice to have more open space though, let some of the demons be able to stretch their legs more."

[MissyLooni]

Takana frowns and starts making pancakes, "maybe some day that will happen... I don't think anytime soon though. "

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " oh i know. that's about as likely as me ever leaving this district. it would be a nice thing though, to watch kids be able to romp in either form, to be able to be ourselves."

[MissyLooni]

Takana glances at arakan as he whisks the dry ingredients together, "do all demons have more than one form?"

[Namari]

Arakan stretches his legs out, " no, some species like spidrens and naga are unable to change shape. And Izanagi cannot either. the lowest ranked demons often are stuck in one shape, and those who are halfway between one and another that is their form. it's those like me who can change, who have a beast-like shape, and then a separate human like shape."

[MissyLooni]

Takana hums softly, "I see." He continues to make pancakes, the sound of the batter sizzling as he plops some in a hot pan
