He looks back at korri, you mentioned something about a tongue for me. Is that still something i could ask from you

Izanagi sees the note and nods.

Korri blinks, " ah, yes it is. i was under the impression you didn;t want to recover it in case you went back. Im warning you now though, it will not be a pleasant experience. it will be painful, it will take time, and it will be uncomfortable."

you clearly can see my past scars and you know who ive spent most of my life with. Being in pain and being uncomfortable for a long time is all ive known.

[Namari]

She hums softly, " be that as it may, it's a warning i must give no less. New flesh cannot grow on scar tissue, so it must be removed before regeneration can begin. thankfully for you, phoenixes are born for regeneration, and my blood can help regrow what has been lost."

Touhou nods quickly, i would appreciate it a lot, please! It would be nice to have all of my tastebuds back. I only have about 10 percent of my ability to taste so good food has been a waste on me

Korri nods, " very well, we can begin the process when we get back."

Izanagi comes back and sets a tea in front of each of them, " here you are. Do you know what you'd like to eat?"

Touhou takes the tea and smiles when the warm cup takes the chill out of his fingers.

He hears the question and hums softly, a bowl of ramen would be fine please

Korri thinks for a moment, " the curry." she takes a sip of her tea.

Izanagi nods and heads to the back to put the order in.

Touhou does his best to drink his tea, it obviously looking weird since the tongue muscle does so much for the human body

Arakan walks into the cafe, blinking when he sees his mother and the mouse demon from the video. He walks over and sits, " im surprised you're here mother."

Korri blinks, " Arakan! what a pleasant surprise, you've been so scarce lately. Touhou, this is my son, the heir to the district, Arakan. Arakan, this is Touhou, he's new here. we'll need to get everything... finalized at some point since i do think he intends to stay."

Arakan looks at Touhou for a long moment, " very well."

Izanagi brings out the two dishes, " Arakan? um, lemme get you a drink quick, i didn;t know you were joining them."

" Neither did i. Iced coffee."

Touhou stares at arakan. Just. Fucking. Stares.
Until he finally gives an indignant scoff and writes in the notepad and pushes it for korri to read,  this... is the one and only arakan?

Arakan notices Touhou staring and raises an eyebrow.

Korri takes the notepad and blinks, " well, yes, as far as im aware anyway."

he doesnt look like he's worth all of the heartache but what would i know.

He shakes his head and does his best to consume the ramen

Korri sighs, " there's more to it than that, but i'll not get into it."

Arakan raises an eyebrow at his mother.

" nothing for you to fret over dear." She eats her meal delicately.

Arakan sighs, " i don't think i want to know. i have a few hours to kill at the moment, so i might as well eat too."

Izanagi sets Arakan's drink in front of him.

" Ramen, and red pepper."

Izanagi nods and goes to fetch it.

Korri looks at Touhou, " well, since it seems like you plan on staying, we ought to look into finding a place for you. Izanagi is down a roommate and works here, perhaps we can work with that."

Touhou shakes his head, i only plan to stay until i get a tongue. After that i am going wherever takana goes so no need to do any of that paperwork
