Nikiri leads him to the gate, keeping his eyes out just in case

[Namari]

Yori goes to the gate and presents his pass, " i'd like to go out."

[MissyLooni]

The guard grumbles but has to let yori out

Nikiri, as usual, stands a few yards away so as to not irritate the guards any further

[Namari]

Yori waves and then jogs away from the gate, pulling out his phone and looking up where there's a nearby forest and heading there. Once far enough away from the gate he opens his jacket, " if you wanna ride on my shoulder or something i don't mind, we're far enough that it should be safe."

[MissyLooni]

The mouse scampers out of yori's pocket and up the coat until he settles on yori's shoulder, making the classic motion of cleaning himself.

[Namari]

Yori startles a bit when Touhou just jumps out, then smiles and keep going until they reach a park, heading off the trail into a secluded area. " Okay, I think I can find my way back, and I hope this is far enough."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou sniffs the air curiously and slips down yori's coat, running a few feet in the snowy grass before going back to his usual appearance, "no one is around so it will do. I'm going to teach you to evade first. And the best way to do that is to learn the creatures preferred method of hiding which is to become one with shadows."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " okay..." Well it wasn't going to be something he could use to help with much bit it was a start. " So I can literally just... become a shadow? Like totally not even touchable?"

[MissyLooni]

touhou shakes his head, "still touchable if someone attacked you, but the whole point is you essentially disappearing from an enemy and using the shadows to leave. if you arent good enough at this technique you could still be seen and attacked."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " oh, so im still there and just look like a shadow?"

[MissyLooni]

touhou makes and 'eeehhh' gesture and sighs, "Its hard to explain. you'll get a better feel for it once you are able to do it yourself. If you can master it like your father then you should be able to hide and move without making a sound and your smell should be wiped away as well, and if someone shines light in the area you're in it will not reveal you. You can even removing the foreboding sense of dread that most have when they feel like they are being watched. your father likes to keep enough of him known so humans get that sense of dread because... well he's an asshole."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " okay... well, i guess we might as well start then. what do i do?"

[MissyLooni]

Touhou nods, "I want you to go into the forest just a little bit and meditate a little. See if you can hear the forest first. i know that sounds weird but just trust the process."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and nods, " okay..." he heads in a bit and sits, feeling like that's probably easier, and closes his eyes, trying to just... reach out mentally.

[MissyLooni]

it takes a moment. probably a lot longer than yori would like and its hard to tell at first if the wind and rustling leaves is the forest or just another winter day.

However for a split moment, as the wind dies down yori can hear almost a soft whispering. Not near him, but all around him and not by one voice but by many.
As if a group of people were having a shushed conversation around him
