Nikiri takes a bit of thread and gently wraps it around yoris neck briefly before marking the length needed and pulling away, "a collar. One very specific for you since you go in and out of the district. You'll be able to remove it and it will give off the same signal as all of our other collars but other than that it won't have anything else in it. Just something to give me peace of mind if you need to be more active in the district and this way when we have an inspection you won't get harassed by the guards. Don't fret over it, my friend is a genius and is the person responsible for takana's ears."

Yori blinks, " oh, right. shouldn't Takana have one too? And is that the guy who let us go through his place to bring Touhou to the district?"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods, "we already have takana's measurements from when he wore an actual collar so I don't need his. And yes that is the same guy."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " thank you, i know it worries you when i go out and about. if this helps put your mind at ease then i'll wear it."

Nikiri nods, "it means demons won't bother you thinking you're human."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " yeah... thankfully it's been cold so i've just worn a scarf usually and nobody messes with me, but i guess that'd be weird when it gets warm. thanks."

"Also the inspections would be a bit of a hassle. Hopefully you're first inspection will be... less traumatizing than takana's."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " i hope all the changes won;t make things harder at the inspection. i kinda just want to not be in the district for it."

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri nods, "yes and that's absolutely fair. We usually get a heads up so when we do I'll let you know so you can make plans to be out of the district if that's what you wish."

Yori nods, " thanks! Go get some food before it gets cold, I'm gonna go see how Isabelle is." He heads over to Isabelle, sitting next to her.

Isabelle is sitting with sapphire still in her lap, her face a little flushed because she can't stop smiling and laughing at sapphires shenanigans.
When yori sits down next to her she gives him a genuine smile.

A few days go by, the opening of the district goes by with no complications, Takana could start working at the cafe again, and isabelle handed makoto divorce papers at her residence with her attorney and a guard present.
She informed him he had 30 days to pack his belongings and move out as per their states law. It was a good thing Isabelle brought her own guard because in a fit of fury makoto lunged at her, shocking both her and the attorney but not the guard who quickly tackled the man to the ground and the police getting a call.
Plenty of magazines came out featuring Isabelle and the district opening 'succes' followed by another magazine article of the arrest of Makoto however he was only in holding before quickly getting bailed out by his mother.
While he only spent a few hours behind bars it still put him in a terrible spotlight, the magazine cover having a hilarious picture of makoto in cuffs getting shoved into a police car.

Isabelle happily brought both magazines to arakan, the district opening one for shiro and the one with makotos arrest picture to just chuckle at.

Indigo enjoys his time with her, loving seeing her so happy with his sister. The next day after he had arranged for a babysitter for sapphire so his brother could take his guard posting again to take Isabelle on that date he'd promised, enjoying a nice time at the cafe just the two of them and taking a walk into the greenhouse which was arguably one of the nicest areas of the district right now, not to mention warmer than outside. He was trying at least, with what little he had to work with.

Arakan takes the magazines, looking at the on with Isabelle first and nodding in approval, " if we've got a shot at this working, this should do it. thank you for going above and beyond for this, especially with what he did that same morning." he does look at the one with Makoto and chuckles a bit, " seeing as he's been eagerly making our lives more difficult, it's very satisfying to see him being given a taste of his own medicine, even if it was short lived." he hands the Makoto one back. " Shiro should be coming in today, so i'll get this to him when he does."

She takes the other magazine back and smiles, "no need to mention that day. The only reason I postponed my initial divorce was because it was too close to the district opening however his sudden physical actions... while distressing, was the perfect set of events to keep the press salivating over it."

She tucks her things away in her briefcase and closes it, "and while his jail time was short lived the repercussions will have a ripple effect amongst the public and his reputation is a bit tarnished. Something that is needed if we are to help change the publics view of your district."

Arakan nods, " it is fortunate in a way, though regrettable you needed to be attacked for it. I'm glad it was not worse however."

[MissyLooni]

Isabelle sighs softly, "a high percentage of woman are murdered by their husband's so a simple punch is nothing in comparison. I'm just sorry that you had to see me in such a way."
