Link sniffles and looks at ike, nodding, "o-okay... thank you for everything you did for me... impa briefly mentioned all the help you've been doing while ive been.... out of it.  So... thank you.  It means a lot to me. "

Ike rubs the back of his neck, " well they thought you might still be able to hear us... so we just wanted you to be comfortable. speaking of which, Tergo had me bring over Charlie." he grabs the plush chicken, " you loved this thing. there's also a chick in the basket over here, who's been keeping you company."

Link gently takes charlie and smiles, sniffling, bringing his hand up to his face as he wipes more tears, "yeah i- i thought... i thought i was dreaming..." he hiccups and takes a shakey breath, "when i was... captured... i didnt sleep much, obviously, but when i did... i dreamt that i was here, with you..." he takes another breath, "i... i thought i was still dreaming... but you did all of that for me... you actually got me a baby cuckoo..." he gives a small chuckle as more tears fall down his face

Ike nods, " yeah... so don;t worry, i promise i won't hold it against you." he chuckles, " well yeah, we wanted you to get better. i hoped if you were happy you'd wake up faster. it was worth a shot anyway."

Link grips charlie tightly before taking another deep breath, "can i have... a hug? They've always made me feel better."

Ike nods, getting up and going to the bed. He sits on the bed and hugs Link, " yeah, no worries."

Link shudders and wraps his arms around ike, his hands shaking, "i thought.... I'd never see you again...."

Ike scoffs, " as if i'd leave you there. there was no way i'd stop trying, i just knew rushing in there randomly would only cause trouble... we had to wait for an opportunity and enough resources. im sorry it took so long."

Link shakes his head and sniffles, "dont apologize....you came... thats all that matters...too be honest i dont even know how long its been. Cia kept forcing this weird pink gel down my throat that caused me to black out all the time so for all i know it coulda been months...."

Ike squeezes him tightly, " it wasn't that long, i promise. but all that matters is you're here now, and safe." he lets go, grabbing the basket by the bed, " here's your new little friend, never gave him a name, so that's up to you."

Link reluctantly lets go when he feels ike pull away, not ready to be done hugging but knowing that the hug had been going on for a while. Link looks at the basket and he cant help but smile when he sees the little baby chick inside, "oh jeez. I've never been good at naming things..." he gently picks up the chick and begins petting it, the smile getting bigger, "hey little guy."

Ike chuckles softly, " well im pretty sure you could name the chick fluff face and it won;t care. it's a chicken. or cuckoo? whatever, it won;t care."

Link nods and continues petting the baby, "i like Lucky."

Volga's eyes slowly open and he blinks a few times before sitting up.

Ike chuckles, " lucky it is then."


Sheik was asleep in one of the chairs, book on the ground indicating he'd been reading and dozed off.

Aria soon comes in with a tray of broth and a small cup of applesauce, "here you are. Broth first and if you feel like you are able to stomach applesauce then go for it. Otherwise dont push yourself or else you'll make yourself sick. Is there anything else you want?"

Link glances at the broth, "maybe some real food..."

Aria sighs softly and sets the tray on his night table, "very funny. I already told you that you cant have solids yet."
She looks at ike, "is there anything i can get for you?"

Volga scratches at his head and yawns before getting out of bed and going over to sheik, gently placing his hand on sheiks shoulder
