Renshajoh snarls at Torque, " well i tried at least." he looks at Orion, " i should have specified for you to try and look scared. it was worth a shot anyway. dying fish act better than you all..."

Moko looks at the screen and winces, " im not sure we can get the engines up and going again."

Simone gives a cruel laugh, "now, i'll give you one last chance to hand over the galakin or else i'll aim straight for your engines!"

Torque huffs and takes the mute off, "and what on earth do you want this brat for?! He has already stated many times that he's useless!"

Simone snorts and smirks, "he himself, yes he may be useless. But his gem is more important than our lives. Just him exisiting would cause utter havoc with the people. Galakins get their strengths from their gems which share the same materials as stars which makes them connected. The fact that there is at least one galakin alive and healthy means that stars still exist! Why else would you think he hasnt been out of a watchful eye for so long?!"

Orions ears lower and he pushes himself up, quickly going over to ren and hiding behind him

Ren growls, hiding Orion behind him, " so you'd risk harming him and us just to get him?"

Simone nods, "a small price to pay. However, we do have an excellent nurse on staff who will keep him as happy and as healthy as possible."

Torque snarls, "so what? You'd parade him around?! You think people would even believe you without solid evidence?!"

Simone giggles, "no silly! Thats the best part! Im gonna use him to find a real star! And i'll record him absorbing the stars energy and using it to do something cool! Like power a ship- no a planet! Or maybe make new stars!" She starts twitching excitedly as she laughs some more.

Torque stares at her and grimaces, "man i know i wasnt the best husband to you but damn i really dodged a fucking bullet."

Orion listens to her talking, blinking slightly. Could he... really do all that? He didnt seem like he could. His physique didnt really...look like he could do much

Renshajoh snorts, " you may be able to keep him healthy, but you will not be able to keep him happy. he wants nothing more than to return to his owner despite my best attempts. i doubt he will thrive long in your care."

[MissyLooni]

"He's just been brainwashed to think of such things. He'll be with me and my ship which is all full of women. We'll easily be able to breed him and bring his kind back!"

Orions eyes widen and he turns pale, "i... im not going with you! I dont want that! I-" he starts to panic and covers his jewel with his hands.

"Sorry sweetie. You dont make the rules here. And im about done talking here. I have a pedi to get to. So, i'm just gonna finish blowing up this ship and hopefully kill your little reptile friend in the process since he seems attached to you."
She fires a large missile at the ship, the whole of it tilting to its side a floating limply.

The ship had jerked so hard it caused chairs to fly off to the side along with those sitting in them including Torque.
Orion got flung back again, hitting a wall.

Renshajoh jams his claws into the metal floor, keeping his position, " you certainly know how to pick them Torque... i question your decision making more each day." He unhooks himself and makes his way to Orion, " are you alright?" he frowns, looking at Torque, " is the escape pod in working order? she will likely stop attacking the ship if her prize is no longer here."

Torque groans and pushes himself up, "lad i aint got a clue. Besides that, she may just go after the pod with her miniature single person crafts."

Orion pushes himself up and grabs onto renshajoh, "bring... bring me to the center console...please."

The basilisk hisses at the situation, then looks at Orion, " alright?" He hooks an arm around the small male and makes his way to the console, digging his claws in to fight against the tilt. Once there he keeps a grip on the other, "you got a plan?"

Orion places his hands on the console and looks at renshajoh, "despite sounding crazy she apparently knows enough about my race to think we can power ships. Im gonna test that theory."
He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, his gem glowing bright and blue.

The center console begins to give off the same blue light through patterns forming on the metal.

Simone's eyes widen and she looks back at the girls behind her, "FIRE ANOTHER PROJECTILE!!"

The ship makes a warp jump just in time to dodge Simone's attack into a different sector of the universe, tilting rightside up and the metal groaning softly.

Renshajohs eyes widen as the ship powers up, and he digs his claws into the metal to steady himself and Orion as the ship tilts again, " that... was amazing."

[MissyLooni]

Orion's eyes slowly open as he takes an unsteady step back, "i... i can..." his eyes roll into the back of his head and he collapses.

Torque blinks and slowly gets up, "where... where are we?!"

The slug creature is still at their station, never having left thanks to their slime, "sir! The ship is at full power and the battery spares... are... fully charged... ah! All consoles are functioning however the engine itself is too damaged to handle us at full power. We have all this energy with no way to currently use it until we get the ship fixed up."

Ren quickly catches Orion and scoops him up, " well, might want to think about figuring out where we are, and trying to get us to the nearest waystation for repairs. im going to make sure this one is taken care of." he flicks his tail and heads to his room, getting the kid settled on the bed and pulling the covers over him.

Torque grumbles softly as he gets to his seat, "what about the emergency thrusters?"

The slug turns one eye to look at their captain, "the thrusters we use... to turn the ship? I... i suppose it would give us slow results but results nonetheless."

Torque nods, "i want everyone who knows what a wrench is to head down to the engine room and see what we can do to get it running again! It dont have to be perfect, it just has to last long enough to get to a station! And im going to need coordinates, YESTERDAY!! LETS GO PEOPLE!"

Orion's face scrunches a bit when he's  placed in the bed and he groans soft, "...ren?"

Ren blinks, " im here. don't fuss, you saved the day and used a lot of energy it seems. just rest."
