The basilisk closes his own eyes and almost instantly has his breathing even, clearing his mind.

Orion blinks when ren closes his eyes and he does it to, figuring why not?

Ren stays that way, still except for his breathing for a long time.

Orion finds himself getting bored to the point of dozing off.  Is this what meditation was? Staying still and falling asleep? I mean,  aside from the sitting part he figured this is how you acted when you slept

Renshajoh stays that way for about a half hour before cracking an eye open, " still awake?"

Orion groans softly,  "barely"

[Namari]

Renshajoh chuckles, " you're doing pretty well then. most younglings fall asleep when practicing meditation for many sessions before they learn to clear their mind yet stay aware."

[MissyLooni]

Orio opens his eyes and huffs, "it's hard to do the whole clear your mind thing. My brain doesnt work that way. "

[Namari]

The basilisk snorts softly, " anyone can do it with practice. i never said it would be easy, but many worthwhile things are difficult, and at the end, ultimately rewarding."

[MissyLooni]

Orion blinks and looks down, "and... you think i can do it too?"

[Namari]

He nods, " of course you can. you just have to work at it." he gets up, " keep practicing, try to clear your mind and focus whenever you have some free time. if nothing else, it's a good way to relax."

[MissyLooni]

Orion nods and decides to keep trying a little bit longer

Renshajoh decides to climb under the heat lamp, basking in the warmth.
