Ren chuckles, " It is not something i am used to being asked, and i'll admit when you started trying to look i was thrown off. Checking someone's tail is usually... uh, well it usually indicates interest, as you are inspecting the health of a potential mate. but after the initial reaction i knew you were simply curious and of course you don't know our customs."

Orions face turns a deep blue, so dark that tiny white freckle like dots appear on his face as his eyes widen, "o-oh! I-I'm very sorry! I uh....ummmm" he cleara his throat and looks away, still blushing like mad.

Ren waves his hands, " it's alright! i understand you are simply curious, it's alright. I just cannot help my first reaction, i apologize." He clears his throat, " well, now you know, try to not stare at reptilian folk at the base of the tail, it may be considered inappropriate."

Orion pushes his tray out of the way so that he can shove his face against the table, still embarrassed, "i feel like i'm gonna die from embarrassment. Im so sorry."

Ren reaches over and gently pats his shoulder, " how could you have known? it's not anything to fret over."

Orions sighs before looking up at ren, "i feel so embarrassed."

Ren chuckles, " would you rather me have not told you then you found out much later? things happen, it's part of life. im not upset at you."

Orion pouts a bit, "well of course im glad i found out now rather than later. I wont do it again."

Ren nods, " alright." it seemed awkward now. " um, did you have anything you wanted to do now that we're done eating?"

Orion shrugs, "not particularly. I might take a quick bath since the breakfast was a bit sticky."

Ren nods, "understandable. i only got a few drops on my scales so i'll just use a washcloth to get that off i think. i may do some training."

Orion nods and gets up with the trays to clean up, "I figured you'd do some more training. I can clean up here, no biggie."

Ren blinks, " ah, you don;t need to do that." he quickly reaches for his own trays, accidentally nicking Orion with his claws, " ah, im sorry!"

Orion flinches, feeling the claw catch his hand and he pulls his hand away to look at the wound, a trail of sparkly blue blood drips onto the floor, "oh jeez. I need a bandaid. "

Ren quickly goes over to the workers, knowing they likely had something on hand, and gets some bandages. He goes over and carefully takes a cloth to the wound to clean it, " sorry, normally im better about watching my claws."
