Orion sighs and sits down, "i... still feel like an idiot. And im not hungry anymore. "

Ren shrugs, " we so what we must to survive. you had no choice but to be where you were, you knew nothing else." he finishes his tray of food and sets it aside.

Orion leans back on his bed, trying not push his side since it still stung

Ren sighs softly, " i am sorry for what you went through. i'll leave you be if you like." he gets up and heads for the door.

Orion frowns and looks at ren, "its not like its your fault. No need to apologize..."

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " but i made you feel bad about it. i was not able to explain it in a way that did not upset you."

[MissyLooni]

Orion shrugs, "there's no way you could have. Its not even really you... its the... whole thing. In general. Thats upsetting me."

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " the past is the past, you can't change it. you can only learn and move forward."

Orion  frowns, "Do you think these people here think im an idiot?"

Ren tilts his head, " i think that they think you are confused, and seek the comfort of what you've always known even if it has been shown it is not the most ideal."

[MissyLooni]

Orion blinks and looks down, "That would make sense...."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " that's what i think. you frustrate me at times when i talk with you about it, but it is not your fault. we find comfort in what is known, the unknown is uncertain, and scarier. so i understand it. it is not always easy to remember that when im in the heat of the moment however."

[MissyLooni]

Orion frowns,  "you get frustrated with me? Like... when i mention something that colligan does and you act out? Because i don't like it when you do that but i guess i never put two and two together..."

[Namari]

Ren sighs, " a little. it's...a sensitive thing for my kind, because of our planet we were assumed to be easy to conquer, and it has been attempted several times. We have taken our own lives before we permitted them to enslave us. Though even getting to that point was rare, we fought back and it usually did not end well for those attempting to subjugate us. Anyway, yes, that you would willingly accept such a thing makes me angry, it makes my blood boil and i want to sink my killing claws into someone. I am sorry, i should have better control of my emotions."

Orion sighs, "a little bit yeah since its like you said,  i'm only working with what i know. "
