the scientist girl who had been observing the computer panics, "UHHH-Somethings happening inside the MR fluid! Its actively losing power along with stability again!"

the whole room loses power and the lights turn off before the sounds of a backup generator kick in and emergency lights flicker on.

Orion slowly steps out of the dark matter at the bottom where the stairs are, his clothes and hair seemingly levitate and waft while two similar looking galakin jewels rotate around orion as if he had some sort of gravitational pull.
He blinks, confused at first as to why he was alive before seeing ren on top of colligan, "Ren."

Ren looks up and blinks, " you're alive!" He glares down at Colligan, " you stay put."

Orion's eye color shift to red and he hums softly, "Ren, you can actually step aside please. I have some words for that monster and i would rather you not get hurt."

Ren hesitates before stepping off Colligan, " leave him alive if we still need the key for your collar."

[MissyLooni]

orion raises an eyebrow, "my color is of no concern at this moment. My concern comes from the fact that the memories and gems of my entire family are inside this dubious black shit."

Colligan blinks, his eyes wide, "Your eyes."

Orion glares, "Also non of your concern. I would rather an explanation from you before i deem you no longer necessary." he holds his hand out towards colligan who in turn suddenly starts levitating.

the man shrieks when he finds himself in the air, "What the hell?!"

Rens eyes are wide as he watches, " it may not be of concern at the moment, however keep in mind for later." The rest he didn't understand, but he didn't understand much of what was happening so that was no surprise.

Orion tsks softly and brings his hand up to his collar and touches it gently, the collar turning a vivid blue as orion pushes so much power into it that it shatters off of his neck, "Happy now? I am busy taking out the trash."

Colligan's eyes widen as he watches orion, "you.... you absorbed all of the power inside. How did you survive?"

Orion scoffs, "my family has been screaming for me to come back and take you out. you think they would hurt me?"

"And what? Not only you absorb their power but their memories as well?"

"I have also recovered my own you disgusting pig. I was never in an auction. You never purchased me to save me from someone even worse! Your men kidnapped me when I was picking flowers off my own planet and then murdered my village when they tried to stop you."

Colligan snorts, "So what now mister detective? You got your backstory figured out but what does that do for you huh? Knowing my men killed your family doesnt bring them back! A shame your brother caught us when he did, we could have grabbed him as-"

Orions eyes narrow and his hand that is holding colligan up clenches into a fist as tight as he can and as if he was actually holding the other man colligan screams as his body contorts and crunches, blood squirting as he's crushed in the air.

the scientists can only watch in shock and horror, not knowing if there is anything that can even be done

Ren nods, " that will suffice." he winces as Orion kills the man, he wished he had not done that, he knew the other had never killed anyone before, and it would likely weigh on him. " he is dead now, will you be alright?"

Orion doesnt make eye contact with ren. he instead turns and looks at the dark matter, snarling, "they all need to pay." he holds his hand out towards the remaining computers that the scientists are near and everything in that direction suddenly combusts into electrical flames, causing the people near them to scream and flee in panic

Ren frowns and walks over to Orion, putting a hand on his shoulder, " enough, the man who caused their pain is gone. the others are simply pawns."

"This planet solely exists to hide this monstrosity. This weird amalgamation of my village must be destroyed while i have the chance." his eyes dilate as the power goes to his head and he destroys more of the machines that are holding the dark matter in place, causing the quakes to start up again

Ren grips his shoulder harder, " you'll kill not only yourself, but me as well! we need to go!"

Orion snarls and whips his head to glare at ren, his eyes showing no sign of rationality, "DONT TOUCH ME!" he sends a push of power at ren to shove him back.

Ren's eyes widen as he's blown back and hits the wall, crying out. Normally he would have been able to avoid being injured, but it had caught him off guard. He falls forward onto his knees, panting in pain.

the galakin doesnt react to rens cry at all as he turns back to the dark matter and finishes taking out the machines that were keeping it stable, "You do not understand the pain we have endured for decades. With this gone we can finally return to the galaxy where we belong. The casualties taken place is the consequence of keeping us locked up and using us for so long."

A loud, robotic voice comes on over the loud speakers, "Planet 49X3 Unstable. Explosion Imminent. Safety Shuttles Engage. Please exit off the planet immediately." the lights that were on thanks to the generators begin to fade to red and back quickly.

One of the scientists run over to ren and she tries to help him up, "Sir we need to leave! This whole planet is going to blow and when it does it could wipe out this entire sector!"
