Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Aki blinks when Satoshi stares at him. He looks behind him in case Satoshi was looking at something past him, however when he sees nothing he looks back at Satoshi, "Um. Are you okay, dude?"

Lucario watches them both in amusement

[Namari]

Satoshi blinks then flushes a bit, " um, nothing. i mean im fine, everything's fine. lets uh, lets get going." he quickly turns and heads out of the room, going towards a park they can train at.

[MissyLooni]

Aki looks at lucario and shrugs before following satoshi.

Lucario snickers and follows his trainer

Satoshi gets out to the park and stops, " alright, lets get down to it." he digs through his pokeballs before selecting one, " lets go Elektross." the eel like pokemon rears upright and faces lucario.

[MissyLooni]

Aki shudders a bit, feeling very nervous about starting a battle, "lu-lucario stay away from his mouth, got it?"

Lucario grins and nods before getting into position and waiting for further instructions

[Namari]

Elektross hisses softly and coils her body. " Wild charge!" He wasn;t looking to beat Lucario, just train, so there was no reason to try and go after super effective moves. The eel like pokemon shudders as electrifying sparks from her body, shrouding it before she lunges towards Lucario trying to slam into him.

[MissyLooni]

Aki flinches when he sees the electricity, "protect!"

Lucario quickly throws up a barrier to protect himself from the attack

[Namari]

The electricity dissipates, not really doing anything much. She hisses and glances at Satoshi. Satoshi smiles slightly, " swagger!" the eel pokemon puffs herself up and screeches, swaying back and forth to confuse the other pokemon.

[MissyLooni]

Lucario blinks and shakes his head, closing his eyes tightly as he rubs his temples, groaning.

Aki nervously brings his hand up to his mouth, chewing his nail. He forgot that magic bounce was espeons ability and that lucario was susceptible to status affects. He didn't know what to do, "lucario hang tight, okay? No need to get yourself hurt. Just do your best to focus, dont even open your eyes right now."

[Namari]

" wild charge!" Elektross charges up again and lunges at Lucario once more.

[MissyLooni]

Aki panics as he sees eelektross charge up again and he resists the urge to run to lucario's side. His mind ran through scenarios of what he could do to keep lucario safe but it was fifty-fifty chance of them working, "Lucario! Dig!"

Lucario's ears perked before quickly digging straight down into a hole to avoid being hit.

[Namari]

elektross skids to a stop and hisses angrily, peering into the hole with irritation. Satoshi thinks, two more moves to select... " protect!" Electross gives him a dirty look, she hated having to use moves like this, but puts up the barrier anyway.

[MissyLooni]

Aki blinks when he notices the dirty look.

Lucario breaks through the ground at elektross, however protect cancels out the move.

Aki bites his thumb a bit, "lucario, get closer to me. How are you feeling?"

Lucario jumps back a bit to get some distance before giving aki a thumbs up, his eyes open.

Aki gives a soft sigh, relieved that lucario seemed alright.

[Namari]

Satoshi notes that Lucario has already shaken off the confusion, and Aki was playing a defensive game..." Discharge!" elektross slaps her tail onto the ground and elecrifies the area.

[MissyLooni]

Lucario gives out a sharp cry as he's electrocuted and he falls to one knee, his fur standing on end from the shock

Aki flinches and he shudders, "lucario, are you okay?"

Lucario quickly stands back up, barking out a reply before quickly flexing his claws.

Aki blinks and nods, "if you say so, we'll do it your way. Shadow claw!"

Lucario grins and his claws turn black as it absorbs dark energy and he charges at elektross to strike her.
