Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Satoshi hums softly, " sunrise. it's the promise of the start of something new. um, i suppose my favorite color would be blue, and while i do enjoy some sweets, i prefer them as a rare treat. And how about you?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki grins and puts his hands in his pockets, "sunsets. They're full of energy and when i see one i know I've lived another day. My favorite color is orange and im a sweet fiend! I also love the rain. The worse the storm, the better i feel."

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts softly, " can;t say im a fan of storms, but that's partly thanks to life on the farm. storms tend to cause trouble, not to mention trying to herd in mud and rain kind of sucks."

[MissyLooni]

Aki hums softly, "i get that. A life of a farm boy. But doesnt everything feel so refreshed afterwards? Like, nature is so fed up it has its own tantrum and when its over it feels better for letting their feelings out. I guess thats just how i see it since I've felt that before."

[Namari]

Satoshi thinks it over, " i guess so. not that i usually get to enjoy the feeling, there's a lot to do after a storm. branches to pick up, fences and buildings to mend, making sure everything is safe and in order for the animals."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods placing his hands behind his back, "your parents help with too right? Or are they doing other things?"

[Namari]

" Oh of course they help if they're at the house. Sometimes of course they're off selling some of the animals or crops in town and aren't back in time to help, storms can blow up fast sometimes, and the work can't wait until they get back. But we all pitch in and do everything we can." Satoshi stops and opens the door when they get to the restaurant, "after you."

Aki blushes a bit and chuckles, "Uh thanks." he heads inside, not used to someone opening the door for him

Satoshi follows him in and heads to the host, " a table for 2 please. booth if you have it."

[MissyLooni]

Aki follows the host as well, sitting in the booth once they get to their table

Satoshi takes a menu and starts looking it over, " looks like they have some pretty good stuff. im not going to have any alcohol, i want to keep my head clear in case we run into that dickwad, but you go ahead if you want to."

[MissyLooni]

Aki blinks and looks through his menu, biting his lip, "i.... i'm not at a bar looking to get drunk so I'll have to decline. Also you're here. I dont want to do anything silly in front of you."

[Namari]

Satoshi snorts, " im not telling you to get piss drunk, but they do have some rather nice looking mixed drinks. I just want to keep my head perfectly clear. And even if you do something silly, it's fine, it's a treat for you, enjoy it."

[MissyLooni]

Aki is quiet before he bites his lip, "i think... for a short while i think.... I want to not drink. "

[Namari]

Satoshi blinks and smiles, " alright." he decides on a soda and a meal, telling the waiter what he wanted when he next came by.
