Arakan nods, " good plan. of course im not sure they could really hear me with their heads so far up their asses but still." he tugs the hat down to cover his face as much as possible and follows behind, " never thought i'd see the day where i would be following a human..."

Curtis sighs, "never thought I'd let a demon out without their collar on..."

They get to the 5th district gate and approaches the same burley guy, "Charles. Let me pass through."

Charlie looks at Curtis, "oh look it's that demon loving bastard. What you gonna actually go in and help them too? It's bad enough you informed our superiors of the hour long wait rule. Why don't you fuck off already."

Curtis huffs, "what, dont feel like having a win, win solution being dropped in your lap? The risk of me dying is high going in there and that's something you've always wanted and if I see that it's a doomed situation and report back to you then you can blow this place up sooner than later."

Charlie looks at Curtis for a long minute before glancing up at arakan, "you just that willing to die huh? And what about this tall weirdo? He wants to die to?"

Curtis sighs, "he doesn't want to die but he does want to help. He recently transferred from district 2, you know how those guards are."

Adam snorts, "oh I know them kind. Alright fine. You two weirdos can go in and get yourselves killed. Just makes my job easier." He opens the main gate.

Curtis glances at arakan and nods before heading inside

Arakan touches the brim of his hat as a nod to the others and follows Curtis in, keeping his head down. He lets out a breath once they're past, " well, we're in anyway."

Curtis sighs in relief when they get far away from the gate.

You can smell the sulfur and soot in the air. There are a few buildings that are actually partially melted as if the metal supports and rebar frames got so hot that they melted.

Curtis shudders at the sight and the intense heat in the air, "my god. What happened?" He rubs his arm nervously before looking at arakan, "you're faster than me so I hate to ask but mind carrying me while I tell you where to go? We don't have much time and I'd rather not be in here when the hour is up. "

Arakan looks around with eyes narrowed, " looks like a heat based demon went apeshit. yeah i hear ya, this is an emergency only sort of thing, so don;t go getting ideas that this is a regular thing." He leans forward as he shifts to his other shape, shoving his head between Curtis's legs to get him onto his neck before running towards the worst of the smoke and damage.

Curtis' eyes widen and he let's out a bunch of expletives when he's jerked up and onto arakan, "THIS IS WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE?! JESUS CHRIST! AH FUCK-" he clings onto arakan the best he can, "fuck fuck fuck the hell is this form suppose to be?? Uh shit um go down this street about a few hundred yards and then there should be a broken bench with penis' drawn on it, take that left."

Arakan rolls his eyes and considers shaking the loud man off of him but resists. He growls, his voice low and raspy in this form, " My parents were an ice phoenix and a hellhound, what did you expect an ice fairy? Be glad i have no desire to kill you." He bounds to the bench, turning and following the left street.

As soon as they turn the corner a building with a rounded dome like roof a few miles ahead comes into view and Curtis  pales when he sees a chunk of the building missing its outer wall, "there! That building. That's where the meetings are normally held. Unfortunately right where that huge opening is a few floors up is where I think they sit."

Arakan lifts his head enough to look at it, then speeds up, " hold on tightly. very tightly." he continues to pick up speed until he gets close and jumps, getting most of the height and slamming into the side of the building. Metal screeches as he digs his claws into it and climbs vertically until he reaches the opening to peer in.

curtis clings as tightly as he can screaming when arakan jumps

inside the building the stench of blood over took everything almost more than the incredible heat from everything being on fire. it was going to be too hot for curtis unless something was done to keep him cool

In the meeting room the wall that held the door was completely gone, the large table that sat in the middle was tossed to the side and half melted, chairs strewn around.

In the corner of the room was a large semi transparent bubble with Joker inside holding it up.
Behind him in the safety of the bubble were the humans that were there for the meeting and two unconscious people, a splash of silver peaking from behind joker would mean that one of the unconscious people was probably Rin

Out of the barrier and on the other side of the room was a tall figure who was on fire, the culprit it would seem. He cackled and leaned against the wall, "You really are just waiting for me ta get bored arent ya? Aint gonna happen kid. Either I kill the rest of ya and leave or we all wait here for them humans to crush all of us. Either way the other districts will only know the death of all these demons thanks to the humans and maybe another war will break out~ wouldnt that be fun"

Arakan already radiated cold, though the slight cold burn from where Curtis was in contact with him was probably not high up on the things he was focusing on. Arakan considers the situation for a moment before the wind picks up as he summons the cold, snowflakes and a harsh wind attacking the flames. He roars, climbing up over the edge into the area, frost spreading on the ground where his feet touch.

Once they are on the ground curtis jumps off and keeps his distance the best he can, not wanting to be in the way of anything arakan wanted to do

both Ra and Joker flinch hearing Arakan and look over

Ra's eyes widen when he sees Arakan, "Wha- what the hell!? The hell are you doing here?"

Joker looks relieved for a split second, glad to more than likely have help. He was too young to already be dealing with a life or death battle. With Ra finally distracted he is able to stop channeling power into the Seven of Wands, his defense card and grab his deck, quickly shuffling the deck, placing it down and pulling from the top, "ah, the Emperor, and its upright."
Authority, Structure, Control. The card then begins to ice over slightly, just enough to show Joker that its for Arakan.
Joker nods and lets the card disappear, its power going to Arakan. It would only be for the battle before the effects would wear off.

Arakan feels a surge of power and lets his mouth hang open in a savage grin, launching himself at Ra with claws outstretched and mouth open, ice spikes bursting from the ground ahead of him and aiming directly for Ra.

Ra snarls, "Oh no you dont!" he holds out his hands and blasts arakan with all of his powerful flames

The ice burst up between them, absorbing the heat. Arakan bursts through the ice and slams into Ra, trying to bite down deep into the demons chest. the sky darkening as Arakan summons a storm, snow flurries flying and dousing fire all around them and around the district.
