Izanagi blinks, " why do you need me to go shopping? i mean i can give you some cash, but it's not like im gonna have any idea what to get. you'll probably end up with less random junkfood if im not with. as for your stuff... good luck, i wouldn't know anything about that. i've only been out in the human areas a few times, it's... well i don;t like it."

Takana sighs and looks down, "Well.... im a human. in a demon district... so to say im a bit nervous is an understatement. "

[Namari]

Izanagi shrugs, " understandable. but there's nobody throwing things at you or making death threats or calling the cops because you were 'threatening them' by walking by them on a street. Demons... we're not usually super nice overall, but we're not overly cruel like you humans are anyway. we don;t say that humans are awful and should all die the way most of you humans seem to think of us."

Takana huffs and gets up,  "alright!  Fine! I'll go by myself! " he goes over to his door and closes it before going to a corner of the room and sitting down and bringing his knees up to his chest.
Why was this guy being such a jerk?! It was only his second day here so anyone would be nervous in a new area! And he just... he was terrible at directions and didnt want to get lost...
Maybe this was a mistake....maybe... his step mom would let him come home if he... ugh if he agreed on having a kid. Maybe if he was lucky he wouldn't have to take care of it.

He choked back a sob, staying quiet since he didn't want to be seen crying

Izanagi blinks then bites his lip, oops? okay so the guy was clueless, but seemed to be really over sensitive. He'd have to put his fun time on hold. He sighs and yells, " i'll go with you okay?" then closes his door to go to bed.

He ignored what izanagi said, not really paying attention as he went to bed.

In the early morning he was already up and ready, eyes a little red from crying and he looked tired but other than that he had a goal. To figure out how to get to the grocery store and buy food damn it. He had barely consumed anything since he got here and he was damned if he was going to do it another day.
He got dressed and adjusted his cat ears, did demons really believe this headband was real? Anyway, and he put his shoes on.
He really didnt want izanagi to come with if he was just doing it out of pity.

Izanagi hears the commotion and puts an oversized shirt on to cover himself and comes out yawning, " you going already? i said i'd go with, shoulda woken me."

Takana looks at izanagi and frowns, "i don't want you to go with me just because you pitty me or anything.  I may not know my way around but i'll figure it out." He also cant carry all of the groceries he wanted to buy by himself but he'll figure that out too.

Izanagi yawns again, " naw, not pity. more like... im sorry i was kind of going a bit overboard on being an ass, so i'll help you even if im not really into it."

Takana sighs, "Im... sorry for being an ass too. I didn't mean to...Im just.... honestly confused by a lot of what goes on here.... so if my questions were offensive to you then i am sorry about that..." He picks at his shirt a bit, frowning, "And I originally thought we could just go after work since we'd be together anyway. Then you could have had the morning to yourself. Is that a bad idea?"

Izanagi blinks, " but why are you leaving now then? im only awake because i heard you, i certainly don't have anyone coming over this early. fuck that, if any of my bootycalls tried to get me up this early i'd tell them to shove their dick in a blender."

Takana glances at Izanagi, "Because you originally said you weren't going to come with me. If i had to go alone i'd rather go in the morning to avoid being bothered or making a fool of myself. If I had a second person I'd prefer to go after work so that the food was the freshest for making dinner."

Izanagi blinks, " oh, okay then. guess we'll go after work. what do you need to be so fresh? i mean i know this place is a shithole but the fridge works."

Takana blinks and crosses his arms, looking down. Why.... did it need to be fresh? "Um... Food is better..... fresh? I guess?"

Izanagi wrinkles his nose, " i mean, i get you don;t want it to be moldy or anything, but it's not like we get high quality stuff here. get used to rejects from the human markets, fresh for us is beyond what humans will buy." he shrugs, " just make sure you cook it well."
