Takana blinks and frowns. that... cant be right. "I see. Thats unfortunate..." He gets up and sighs.

Izanagi smiles, " hey there's one bonus, since we're going together one of us can hold our spot in line while the other goes and gets lunch if it gets late. it sucks to wait when you're hungry, and dipping out of line isn;t really an option...but yeah, we should go." he quickly gets changed into street clothes and heads out the door.

takana was already changed and follows izanagi out the door, "I can give you money but since im bad at directions it might have to be you to get lunch."

Izanagi chuckles, " yeah that's probably for the best."" he heads for the border, and some long lines come into view that lead to the businesses that deal with collars.

Takana sees the line and his eyes widen slightly, "holy shit."

Izanagi looks at the lines, " well they're not as bad as they are sometimes yet. come on! lets hurry and get in line before they get worse!" he traces which line goes to which shop and picks one, " this is the one i usually go to, they're pretty decent about not getting too skittish over low rank demons like us."

takana watches izanagi and follows the demon into the line, looking around nervously, "so many people here..."

Izanagi looks at Takana, " well yeah. no matter how recently they've been maintenanced, collars can stop working at any time. there won;t be any time to check them tomorrow, so today is the best chance we all have of making sure everything is working... not having a working collar during an inspection..." he looks away, " well nobody wants that."

takana looks at izanagi and frowns, "No one has told me what happens either during this whole thing. like, do you get a fine? a few days in jail or what?"

Izanagi pales and looks down, " no...they're not so generous as that."

[MissyLooni]

takana looks a bit shocked, "worse than jail time?"

[Namari]

Izanagi ducks his head and looks away, " i really don;t want to talk about it..."

takana sighs and looks away, his ears moving back in annoyance since he hasnt been able to get an answer out of anyone

Izanagi rubs his arm and keeps his eyes on his feet, staying quiet as the line slowly creeps forward as people get their collars checked.

Takana shakes his head, "whatever.... i suppose if worse case scenario i'll find out for myself."
