takana blinks before nodding, "Yeah we talked to curtis, one of the main guards and my ex. I also have a family member who is the sweetest person i know possibly coming. Her name is Isabelle and she is the wife to... my step brother makoto who is an absolute ass. Honestly if she could just replace my step brother. She might be hesitant and timid but i also know she wants to see me. I just worry about the aftermath as well. I know Makoto will be upset to learn she came here without a good reason so i also want to make sure that she is okay as well. "

She raises an eyebrow, " oh? that is interesting information considering i heard that this Isabella was married into the Kuroshiba family. you really ought to be more careful with what you say, the mistress of the tea shop told me everything. So, you're from that family then? Interesting... you may be more useful than i first thought." she hums softly in thought as she looks at him, " if need be this Isabella can seek refuge here with us. it's unconventional, and i'd rather not anger that family, but if she's useful to secure an improved economy then we may not need to worry about that family as much. Tell me, does she have any other valuable political ties? And if her husband is as bad as you say, do you think she would be willing to leave him? It's never been done before, between humans and demons, but political marriages in our own community are fairly common. Im certain i could find a high ranking demon willing to take that responsibility if it was a good opportunity. i may possibly even consider Arakan for it, however he may be best saved for another. i will need more information first."

takana's ears move back and he looks a little anxious, "I uh.... I'm not sure whether she would leave him or not. She has put up with his behavior a lot for god knows why but she is way too kind for her own good so i dont want her to be taken advantage of. And uh... yeah I am from that family technically but aside from sharing dna with the ceo I dont really involve myself with what they do. I even used to live in my own apartment while i attended college. Right now im just focusing on isabelle shopping here safely for your economy since that is going to be a big deal as is."

She chuckles, " don't fret, if I do work towards that, it will be after a great deal of consideration. After all, she's not in the planning here, so ideally the mate selected for her would be able to win her over himself. And as an important political connection, she would receive the best treatment and care."

"IF she decides to leave makoto. A lot of ifs here. And yes, she does have important ties but that's for her to disclose. She also... can't have children due to health complications so I'm not sure if that affects your plans for her to be with someone here."

She smiles, " well, the ideal time to present a potential mate will be when she comes to visit, even if he's not presented as such. as a protector and guide he'll be in the perfect position to earn her trust. Don't fret about children, we have ways around that. it's not something we often offer to the humans, but if she were among us, if she desires a child it will be seen to." she waves a hand. " no matter, i will oversee such things. the more we can do to secure our future the better. she will not be forced, but i see no problem in tempting."

takana sighs, "as long as its not forced i guess. but she's like actual family to me so I am very protective of her."

She nods, " i assure you if what i've heard of her husband is true, if she does take a mate here, her life will improve considerably. Her status will equal that of her mates, and only a b rank, or possibly extremely important c ranking demons will be considered. I will not risk souring her to us by selecting someone for this that is unsuitable or will treat her badly. I would put as much effort into this as i would if i were seeking a mate for my son."

takana nods, "well.... if it helps to know, she is an extremely wonderful artist and botanist with a passion to help the planet so whoever you pick will need to be able to handle those. Makoto... doesnt appreciate those things so she keeps her art in a locked room and her garden is in a greenhouse which is also locked up."

She nods, " don't fret, i assure you anyone i pick will be tolerant of whatever hobbies she decides to enjoy. especially since taking such a political mating is a great favor to us as the ruling family, so they would be assured a larger home than normal. she will have plenty of space for her desires."

"And again, thats if. She could very well shop here on the daily and still go back to her home since that house is in her name and she built her life there. even if makoto left her he would probably move back in to the mansion where his mother resides."

She smiles slightly, " you leave that to me. she may stay in the human district if she prefers, but obviously it's ideal if she mates to reside here. unless her mate is permitted to leave with her, which is questionable. unless... hm, i may have just the male. yes... i think he would suit nicely." she hums thoughtfully.

takana sighs, "just dont force her into anything. if she likes a guy then fine but if she doesnt and prefers to stay single or if things dont change with makoto then I dont want her to feel pressured. she may be kind, even a little too open hearted, but she's also very sharp. she also has the belief that she married her highschool prince charming and i just- I dont want her treated like a prize to be won."

She shrugs, " well, as i said, she will not be forced. you may meet the male in question if you'd like, since i think he will be ideal. His family used to be high ranking due to their abilities, however being stuck in the districts have put them on harder times. He's an Alicanto, they are able to sense precious metals and minerals. They also enjoy eating them, and their feathers are coated with the minerals they consume, making them quite lovely. They're not strong physically, not compared to other c rank demons, but they are clever and have some powerful defensive abilities."

Takana's ears twitch and he blinks, "i... dont know what an Alicanto is... or looks like. Feathers? So is he like a bird or something?"
