Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

[Namari]

Arakan smiles, but sighs softly at the response, " yes well, our situation has changed how many of us behave. this is not the kind of environment we were supposed to live in. leaders are SUPPOSED to act this way, but... things have changed with humans in control." he drops hi hand and lifts the mug to his lips.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "right. Well. I'm making something on the lighter side for izanagi's sake. I figure once today is over I could make a good dinner to make up for it." He turns and goes back to the stove

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " the buns were appreciated yesterday, they helped me keep going. a good dinner would be wonderful, if you do make it and im invited." he grins a bit.

[MissyLooni]

Takana snorts, "as long as you're over you're invited, so make sure you're over."  Takana blushes again and clears his throat a little, "I'm glad you enjoyed the buns. Hopefully I can make them more often says they are a travel friendly meal."

Arakan nods thoughtfully, " careful extending that invitation, i might abuse it. as for the buns, well they're probably a bit spicy for the ordinary folk, but tame them down and im sure many people would enjoy taking those to go instead of having to sit and eat. of course that is extra work though, so it's up to you if you wish to try it."

Takana snorts, "I only make it that spicy for you. I would never make it that spicy for anyone else unless I wanted them dead."

[Namari]

Arakan laughs softly, " well i enjoy it, so pack it with all the heat you can."

[MissyLooni]

Takana turns red again hearing arakan laugh and he damn near melts.
His ears twitch and he holds in a shudder before filling a bowl with soup and handing it over to izanagi.
He fills up another bowl, making sure to add some heat to it and hands that one over to arakan, his face still bright red

Izanagi takes the bowl quietly, he would enjoy the show far more if it weren't such a stressful day.

Arakan takes his bowl, then frowns as he sees Takana's face so red, " are you alright? you're very flushed. do you have a fever?" he lifts a hand, cooling it and placing it against takana's forehead to try and help cool him off.

Takana's body freezes for a split second when he feels arakan's hand on his head and he can't help but stumble back, "i-!" His ears immediately flatten and he quickly turns away, "i-im fine! Obviously! You-youre just imagining things! Eat the damn soup already!!" He frantically grabs a bowl and pours some soup into it before binging the bowl up to his mouth and sipping it, taking a few more inches away from the group just to be sure

Arkan blinks and sighs softly, " alright alright." he'd have to see about getting Takana some time off to rest. He drinks down his soup and frowns as he looks at his phone, " odd, they usually call for us fairly early. are they not going to inspect us today after all?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana frowns and takes another sip, "well dont jinx it. we certainly dont know what time they want to-"

A loud siren sound goes off from outside, causing takana to flinch

Izanagi yelps and cowers.

Arakan sighs, " well there it is i suppose. make me eat my words then. alright, i gotta go and play the part of the indignant heir."

[MissyLooni]

Takana looks at arakan and nods, "good luck." he looks back at izanagi, "Hey, we'll be okay. we got our collars checked, yeah? lets get this over with and then we'll go to work, and you'll flirt inappropriately with nikiri. just like usual."

Arakan leaves and goes to join his family where they'll meet with the inspection party, looking angry at the situation.

Izanagi nods, " he promised he'd give me a special treat after it... okay, lets go." he gets up and heads out to the street with Takana.
