"Yes I can fully understand how that would be. To come out to your family and they start treating you like trash or worse then trash. In those types of situation I would say it's best to escape and cut ties completely with that family...Has that happened to you?...I mean it's kind of specific how you brought that up as an example" He snorted "Alphas have their heads up their own ass most of the time they think they are big shots because that's how it was a long time ago. Most alphas think they are better then the others and that up tight prissy attitude personality makes them raise to the top in human culture as most become big shots of companies and stuff like that...Alphas will sometimes treat omegas bad or try to but the fiery temper an omega has is rather dangerous to piss off. It's like messing with a short person...Or calling Zim short it doesn't end well...The fiction stories yeah...It use to be that way an extremely long time ago but I guess it's like womens rights it evolved over time and you still have those that still treat women like trash or try to force them to be house wives we still have that issue in our own kind. My younger cousin recently had his first shift and was so upset to find he was about the size of an wolf maybe even an inch smaller so an omega. An alpha that had attended the event tried making fun of him saying what a cute house wife he would make I think about half of our family was on him in a second till dad made him leave and called him disgusting alpha to never show his face around again. The guy said he was joking but even if so that's disgusting to joke about especially as I already knew my cousin has an human girlfriend and plans to be of human culture which is common for omegas anyway...Lycan culture is like you humans we have our faults and are still working on them. We have bad people too but we try to take care of it ourselves as humans are still a threat to us. As you hunt the paranormal for fun and to learn there are those that hunt for money and fame" He finished his drink and relaxed in his seat

Dib shook his head. "It didn't happen to me. I was using it as an example as family isn't always important. My dad is't against gay or trans people so I'm glad for that. I suppose because in a way, it does sort of link to a science, doesn't it?" He took the empty dishes and brought them to the sink, cleaning them as he listened to Torque talk about how the dynamic worked for real. He nodded in understanding. Just like society, it changes over time bit by bit. Torque was correct when it came to it all still being worked on. He dried his hands when he was done washing the dishes and smiled at him. "Yeah. I get it. I did used to want fame especially when I was fighting Zim in the past but I grew out of it over time, especially when Zim dropped his... 'mission' and we started becoming friends instead."

He looked to the entryway to the living room. "Ready for the tour?"

"As strange as it is to think that way yes it does link to science. But it's also a part of that person that no amount of science will ever change" He nodded and thought a moment before asking his next question "Back then what would you of done if you figured out what I am? It's good you two are friends now it would of been better if that had happened sooner but better later then never I guess." He gave a nod of his head and got up to follow Dib around the house.

"Yeah, I know that." Dib smiled and shrugged. "Probably put it on hold since most of my time was dedicated to trying to stop Zim and his schemes. Even all my Bigfeets research was put on hold since Zim arrived on Earth." He agreed with Torque when it came to becoming friends late than never. "Had we not become friends, he probably wouldn't have cared to come with me to keep me safe on my hunts to find more creatures. There were even times I could have died but he was there to heal me up."

He stepped out of the kitchen, leading Torque into the living room first. "This is the living room." He pointed to a door that led out to the backyard. "There's our backyard and the shed. I still have Tak's ship- uh, Tak was an Irken too but I figure you knew that as well?"

"Put it on hold?...huh so I didn't really have to worry about you finding out back then, that sucks" He said with a sigh and listened to how Dib might of died from his hunts if it weren't for Zim healing him. "What hurt you?...I mean I know there are a handful of paranormal beings that attack first ask questions later" He asked as he followed him giving Gaz a slight wave in the living room. He glanced to the shed "Tak?...That strange girl that showed up at skool then disappeared. So she was irken as well I thought so but wasn't sure"

"Yeah, you didn't have to. Zim had my full attention because I thought he was a threat." He laughed a bit. He though back on it and nodded. "It was a ghoul in the forest. It made me think it was a crying girl lost in the woods but when I got near to ask if she was okay, it attacked quick and pierced through almost all the way."

Gaz gave a slight wave back before turning her attention back on her game. Dib nodded. "Yeah we managed to stop her plan to turn earth into a pinata for the Tallest. She was angry at Zim for some reason or another. Never got to hear what it was and I don't think Zim bothered to care to remember. You thought she was strange? Zim had to tell me she was Irken because her human disguise was way better than his. I didn't think she was suspicious at all at first. Do you want to see the ship? Or maybe not... It still has a bit of an attitude, even more so because I can't exactly use it anymore due to growing."

"I at one point was going to ask if you wanted help with Zim but I was told not to interfere that it wasn't my battle" He made a face "Ok yeah ghouls are bad news for real never met one that wasn't hostile...I'm glad Zim saved you though" He snorted "A pinata? Seriously how would that even work?...Her disguise on the outside was spot on but her scent and aura around her spelled trouble and I thought she was even more a threat then Zim was but again I was told not to interfere. That sounds interesting to see but if you think it's a bad idea then i'll pass"

"Help would have been nice at the time honestly. I thought I was alone in the struggle because no  one else believed me but no worries about the past anymore." Dib nodded. "Yeah, I knew they were a more hostile paranormal species but I wanted to learn more truth other than what's written in fictions. Since some people will make things up about them. You know like demons. They really can't come up here if they're a lower rank and there's even some that only come at a specific time and when things align and such. Or if they're summoned. Demons don't really walk among us unless of course, say someone summoned a demon, slept with them and got impregnated by them then the baby comes out half-demon. There can only be half-demons and if those get around and keep breeding, then it's quarter demons and so on. If someone thinks another is possessed, the 'possessed' either could be faking it, they summoned the demon wrong or willingly allowed access into their body via contract. It's all complicated stuff when it comes to demons, really. Ghosts, on the other hand, don't go by much rules. They can possess whoever and whenever. Luckily, most ghosts I've come across are docile or annoying at worst. The type to knock shit around and break stuff."

Dib took in a breath after he was done rambling. "Oh, Tak was going to suck out the inside of the Earth with something and then fill the middle with sweets for the Tallest. Her plan actually did go into motion too so yeah, she was a bigger threat than Zim. We stopped her together." He nodded. "Maybe another time. I don't want her attacking you." He showed Torque to the downstairs bathroom which only contained a toilet and a sink as it was a half one then led Torque past the door that led into the basement. "That's my dad's workspace and here's the stairs leading to our bedrooms."

"Don't go in my bedroom, Dib."
"I wasn't going to."

"I still feel bad about it even if it was in the past there are some things I wish I did differently" He nodded his head as he listened to what Dib had learnt about the paranormal so far. "So you've seen ghouls, demons, ghosts...or experienced ghost around you and now your talking to a lycan is there any other beings you have seen or met?" He made a face as he learnt what Tak was going to do and that it could of worked if the two hadn't stopped her. "So back then you and Zim could get along as long as there was a threat that effected both of you...Sounds like it was a matter of time till you became friends." He chuckled a bit at the fact the ship might attack him not thinking he would really be in that much danger but said nothing against it was he followed him. "So do you live here or with Zim or have your own place?"

"Don't we all? I didn't exactly help myself even when Zim wasn't around. But time travel is too complicated to mess with. I'm pretty sure Zim's tried to destroy me in the past by time traveling. All those memories are vague because in a way, it did and didn't happen... if that makes sense?" He headed up the stairs, thinking about Torque's question. "Rat people. They're mutated people that live in the parking garage of the mall. They got that way because they've been lost for so long. I still have no idea how that works honestly. I just wanted to get out because they told me I would have turned out that way if I got lost down there too and I don't exactly want to risk becoming a rat person. Maybe I should look back into it. They still kind of looked somewhat human... I wonder if they start looking more rat-like the more time they stay there."

"Yeah, we worked together when it came to mutual threats. Like even Chammy... not that she was a threat but she was REALL annoying." He reached the landing and pointed to Gaz' room. "Gaz' room. We're not going in there. She has security dolls that will harm you. And that door leads to my dad's room. Here's mine. Or my old room." He opened the door to his old bedroom. It was mostly bare but there was still a bed in case he decided to visit and stay over. "I don't live here anymore, I have my own place and my own office for my paranormal investigator job. Zim works with me but he still lives in his own house."

He let out a sigh and nodded his head "I thought most if not all humans were a threat to me as an lycan. When I was a young child I witnessed a hunter shooting my grandma dead. The other difference between werewolf and lycan is if an werewolf gets knocked out or killed they turn back human if an lycan gets knocked out or killed in wolf form they stay looking like a wolf. She was of omega rank about a head taller then normal wolves so the hunter thought her as nothing but a wolf. It only took one well aimed bullet to kill her. Once it happened I heard the hunter spot me as he yelled 'hey kid' and I ran away as quick as possible back home. So my fear of humans ran very deep for a long time. My parents made me go to skool as government officials said I had to go to skool one way or another so I was not happy with that and tried my best to keep to myself but it's skool and thats hard to do." He raised a brow "Rat people? Ok I have not heard that one so now i'm curious about it" He looked at the different doors before following him into his old bedroom "So you live alone?"

Dib grimaced when Torque told him he actually witnessed his grandmother being shot. "I'm really sorry that happened. She didn't deserve to be shot. People should know better than to shoot at even regular wolves because they're a protected animal. Hunter... that sounds more like a poacher if he was willing to shoot something he thought was a wolf." He reached over and pat Torque's arm softly.

"Yeah, they might be new. Maybe. I don't know if it's only in the mall in this city or malls everywhere. It's something we could look into." He stood in his room and looked to Torque asked if he lived alone. "Yeah, I do. It's not horrible or anything. I guess it gets quiet but it doesn't really bother me all too much. I mean before I became friends with Zim, I was used to being sort of on my own."

”no they were hunters the state was giving out some wolf hunting tags for that year saying the wolves in the area got to thick. We knew about it but I guess didn’t think we were really in danger so deep in the forest. We pay closer attention to the hunting tags being given out now so not to make the same mistake again.” he looked at Dibs hand on his arm and gave a soft smile ”Dad wanted to hunt the hunters down but knew it would just cause problems and more danger to us” he nodded his head ”sounds like fun” He chuckled a bit ”Yeah you were like a lone wolf. I’m kind of like that myself right now just trying to figure out what I want In life though that got interrupted by that asshole…yet I guess if he hadn’t of caused issues then you might of never came around and I’m glad you did though if you get hurt by getting involved in this fight I won’t forgive myself for letting you talk me into letting you help”

"Oh. I had no idea about there being exceptions." He frowned. It all sounded pretty messed up. So what if there were more wolves? He shook his head. "Humans really should have no say in dwindling the mass of one animal or the other. They should just leave wolves in general alone. It's not like the animals really go out of their way to find and attack humans. If humans didn't think they were above everyone else and left the forest alone, Lycans would have stayed safe,  huh?" He sighed. He moved his hand off of Torque's arm and nodded. Hunting the hunter would have only caused problems.

He looked away. "Well, it's not like I always wanted to be alone either. I was too much, I wasn't exactly being raised to pull back my enthusiasm and I only scared people. It would have been nice if I had friends instead of being the freak basically everyone in school hated." He shrugged. There really was no changing the past. He had to keep himself in the present. He had Zim... and now he had Torque. "We have to wait until later tonight because Zim ordered me some armor to protect me from strong bites. It's coming from space and he went to make sure that asshole doesn't go targeting my dad to get to me and I came here for Gaz. Even if she can very likely hold her own."

He stepped out of the bedroom and pointed to the bathroom. "Full bathroom with a shower. And this leads up to the attic and rooftop." Dib looked up at the pull string on the ceiling that would pull down some steps. "That's pretty much this house."

Torque just nodded his head "Yeah it's why there are different cultures with lycans and why a large amount of them choose to forget that they are lycans and live strictly like humans" He listened to him talk about being alone and let out a sigh "I wish I had been your friend back then...there was a desire to be your friend but my fear kept me from reacting on it. It there was many times I wanted to at least talk to you or something" He said this scratching at the back of his neck in a nervous manner seeming to be searching for something else to say but instead took Dib's next part of the conversation as an distraction "I don't think he's showing up here or there or he already would have. So I think your sister and the professor are safe for now"
