Ren blinks, " i had enough, but i can finish it if you are done with it. i don;t want to take your sustenance if you need it however."

orion shakes his head, "I do not need to eat this much since i am so small and i dont want to waste the food either."

Ren shrugs and takes it, eating it in one bite and chewing contentedly, " we should get moving." he grabs Orions hand and starts down the road heading towards the harbor town.

Orion blinks and follows closely behind ren, making sure to keep up

They pass a few wagons heading the opposite way, going to the markets to sell their catches. About a hour of walking in and a wagon finally comes up behind then, Ren hailing it, " you heading to the harbor? mind if we catch a ride?"

The man stares at ren briefly before giving a tired shrug, "Hop in stranger."

Ren smiles and thanks him, grabbing Orion and hoisting him into the back before jumping up himself, settling to sit.

the man starts the wagon back up again and continues his way to the harbor

orion blinks when he's handled and he looks at ren curiously

Ren settles on the back and lets his feet dangle off the back, " well, now we can just enjoy the ride, we'll get there faster too."

Orion looks at the road and nods, "i'm surprised. Do people often just let strangers hitch a ride? "

[Namari]

Ren shakes his head, " not super often. it really depends on the person. I have the benefit of my race being typically honorable and trustworthy, so people trust us a little more easily."

Orion hums and nods, "that makes sense."

Soon enough the man stops the wagon, "we're here folks."

Ren hops down and helps Orion down as well, going over to the man, " thank you for the ride, it was much appreciated." he heads for the harbor, towards where the ships are.

Orion follows next to ren, holding his hand again

Ren soon makes his way to a few of the boats that were being loaded and set up to go out fishing, " are any of you looking for a couple more hands to help?"

One of the men looks up and raises an eyebrow, " you, yeah, him, no. not many of your kind around these parts, but i know the captain would hire you, if only to dive for pearls and bottom crawlers. Him... he's too scrawny, he'd be a liability." He tosses a heavy looking cage onto the boat.

Ren sighs, " is there any boats here you know of that could use the help of someone to clean, or to count the catches, keep records, something that does not require physical strength?"

The guy shrugs, and jerks his thumb at the man overseeing the loading, " ask the captain, he'd know better than me."
