orion finishes off the food and gives a soft sigh, feeling full, "I havent had such sweet foods before. It was really good."

Ren chuckles, " i will keep in mind that you enjoy sweet things. most races seem to, so i think you should be able to find plenty of enjoyable options."

Orion looks up at ren and grins, "yeah? Im kinda excited to try more sweet stuff. I dont know why i didnt have any before."

Ren hums, " i believe sweets tend to be higher in calorie than most other foods, perhaps it was desired that you not gain any extra weight."

[MissyLooni]

Orion blinks and frowns, looking around at other people curiously before looking at himself, "but im awfully already kinda thin..."

Ren nods, " that was my thought on the matter. your...employer had specific desires for what you looked like as far as i remember. Personally i do think you need a little more weight to be healthy."

[MissyLooni]

Orion nods, "it would maybe make me feel less tired if my body had more energy to burn. Maybe he just thought i didnt need as much since i wasn't.... working."

Ren frowns, " ...perhaps. it is not healthy for a body to not have any reserves regardless, if you get ill, you have nothing to fall back on. Even i have stores of reserves, they are simply not as visible or obvious. for example, the base of my tail is actually a decent amount of my reserves, it can grow thicker or skinnier if i am not careful."

Orion blinks and looks around ren to get a good look at his tail, "Your tail holds all of your fat?"

Ren's scales turn a little red, " not all of it, but most." he turns so Orion can see and pokes at the base where it's thickest, " there's a lot of muscle in there, but at the base is a good amount of fat storage."

Orion blinks and looks back up at ren, "how fat can your tail get?"

[Namari]

Ren blinks, " um, it can get pretty chunky i think. Im not sure what the largest is, i can;t say i've ever seen a very overweight of my kind. not enough food and too much work to do on my planet."

Orion hums softly, thinking it over, "that over girl. Tai i think is her name. She's not a basilisk but her tail is pretty pudgy and she is awfully slow. Do you think her tail holds her fat too? "

Ren tilts his head slightly as he considers it, " it's fairly likely, while we are not the same race, it's evolutionarily advantageous for being of our body styles to store fat in such a way, it keeps it from hindering our movement and does not effect our balance much, so even larger stores still allow us to function normally. I think her race is slower moving in general than mine is, but it would still be logical that since we evolved into very similar shapes that the fat stores would be in the same spot. when nature finds a shape that works well it tends to duplicate it."

Orion nods, "That makes sense. There's a lot I dont know so I hope my questions arent.... rude in anyway."
