Takana sighs and follows Arakan, although honestly he'd rather stay with Izanagi or Mina. He didnt want to be with this guy at all. He boredly scratches at his neck and pouts a bit until he hears Arakan asking him questions. He... didnt want to lie but he also couldnt let him know he was human, "Um... I was in the human district my whole life. Then when I refused to have kids I was kicked out of my home and I had no where to go....So I came here." He places his hands behind his head and sighs, "Sorry for being a huge inconvenience i guess." he was half sarcastic and half sincere.

Arakan raises an eyebrow as he looks at the smaller male at that last comment, " it's an inconvenience, but i'd rather be inconvenienced than have one of my people exterminated when i could have prevented it.  so if you have any issues like this again with the collar, tell me." he doesn't say anything about Takana's story. " stop scratching your neck, you're going to make it worse. just be patient." he guides Takana into a seedy looking area and into an equally seedy looking building, though the other demons avoided getting too close to them. He hands the paper off to a middle aged reptilian demon who looks it over and nods, " i can work with this. lets get his picture and i can have this whipped up in a jiffy. the humans won't know he'd ever been anywhere else."

Arakan gently pushes Takana to stand in front of a white backdrop and the other guy snaps a picture before heading into another room.

Takana gets increasingly anxious the further into the seedy area he gets and he's practically shaking when he gets inside with all of the weird looking demons. If he had a tail it would definitely be tucked between his legs

Arakan keeps Takana near him, knowing he'd be safe as they wouldn't fuck with him. Soon the reptilian comes out and hands Takana a professional looking ID card. " there. nobody's caught one of my fakes yet, so as long as you're not stupid about it you'll be alright."

Arakan nods to him, " you have my gratitude, and it will be expressed later."

The reptile grins, " as long as your gratitude pays as well as it normally does, im happy to oblige."

Arakan nods and grabs Takana's arm, leading him out of the seedy area of town back towards the border, " that was the questionably legal part of this, now that you're a legal citizen here we can get you a collar made, and it'll be in the safer area of the city. has to be, since only human technicians are permitted to remove and apply collars to ensure no tampering is done by demons." he curls his lip somewhat. " regardless, that's how it is." he guides Takana into a fancy and very nice building where a human looks up, " ah, Arakan. I've just about got it done. just need to measure him and make the final adjustments before we can get his new one secured." she looks at Takana and waves him over, " come now, over here." she gestures to an uncomfortable looking seat with straps and such to hold demons down while the collar is off.

Takana sees the seat and he raises an eyebrow, "What in the..." a part of him feels lucky enough that he stayed out of the public eye so the possibility of getting recognized by another human was slim...

He hesitantly goes over and sits down, curious if all this was necessary.

She straps him down and uses a fancy tool to remove his collar. She measures his neck and goes over to the work table, finishing the new one, just a simple white band hiding the electronic parts within, and secures it to his neck before undoing the straps, " there. all done."

Arakan goes over and leans in close as he inspects the collar and the fit, then nods, " it will do." he pulls away and looks at Takana, " come." he heads from the building, making sure the other is following.

Takana gladly follows arakan, not wanting to be in the bdsm chair any longer than he had to and once they are out of the building he huffs, "the fuck was with that bdsm chair? I cant even do anything worth all those straps..."

Arakan raises an eyebrow as he looks back at Takana, " That's the idea. an uncollared demon is a threat, so being unable to move while having it off is needed for safety, or so they claim. you're lucky you're low rank, they wouldn't have considered doing mine on such short notice as that chair won't even slow me down if i desired harm on someone." he stops by a pharmacy shop, going in and grabbing a tube of something which he buys and hands to Takana once they leave the store, " for your neck, the material on the collar will prevent further damage, but this will help keep it clean and help it heal."

Takana blinks when he's given the tube and frowns a bit, "why.... are you doing all of this for me? Is it so that i owe you later or something?"

Arakan blinks and growls, " what the hell? of course not. It's good for my people to have a sense of loyalty to me, but im doing it because you need it. the humans sure as hell won;t ensure we all have the things we need, it's my duty as heir to the ruling family. i would do it for anyone that i knew needed it." he huffs and keeps walking back towards the cafe.

Takana sighs, "Alright fine but its just weird. No one's ever helped me just because they could. It's usually so they have something on me later that they can use."

Arakan snorts, " that's because you've been around humans. things are different here."

Takana looks at the ground, frowning. He was human though...
He glances up and feels relieved to see the cafe. Maybe he can just get back to work and forget that this guy existed

Arakan goes into the Cafe and sits back down at his table, looking like nothing happened.

Mina comes over to arakan with the drink he told he wanted except made fresh. She had originally started working on it until he left and then she just dumped it out since it wouldnt be fresh for him when he came back and serving someone like him not fresh drink in his OWN cafe felt like a death sentence.

Takana goes in and besides having a new collar, and looking pretty pale he was otherwise fine.

Nikiri had waited patiently the entire time, even ordering another coffee so he could keep playing the 'im a customer' card
